The Realise charity has been chosen as Strategi’s Charity of the Year for 2021, an organisation committed to supporting communities across North Staffordshire through helping people into employment to create a better quality of life.Strategi’s staff will now spend the next 12 months raising money and awareness for the charity as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local community.

Wendy Dean, CEO of business consultancy Strategi Solutions proudly said,

“Realise is a charity that quietly makes a difference to the local community, which aligns with the vision of Strategi Solutions to give back to the area that it originates from.”

She added,

“I got involved with them because their total belief is about helping people to help themselves. Over the last 12 months in my role as Chair, we have reviewed our strategy and we are even more committed to help people find employment so that they can find a better way of life supporting themselves. As CEO of Strategi Solutions, this clearly fits into our own model of helping companies grow by supporting them as individuals. It’s a perfect partnership.”

With the turmoil of 2020 seeing so many people having their employment affected by the coronavirus pandemic, Realise has been a beacon of light for people in Stoke-on-Trent and beyond.

The Strategi team enjoyed taking part in the charity’s COVID-19-friendly fundraising during 2020, including a virtual Northern Soul Night which raised over £1,500, and is now considering new ways they can work together to raise money and have some fun during the year ahead.

Past years have seen the Strategi team come together to take part in swim-a-thons, bake offs, hundreds of miles walked across Staffordshire, with the team often finding new, quirky ways to raise money and spirits for incredible charities. Wendy added,

“The past year has shown that nothing can stand in our way, and the whole Strategi team is really looking forward to the year ahead.
