Strategi Solutions is certainly a company going places – in more ways than one. It has just moved for the fourth time since it was launched three years ago so that it can accommodate a burgeoning workforce and an ever-growing number of customers.
The business rolled out the red carpet for a whole host of VIP visitors this week when Strategi unveiled its fantastic new base on Lymedale Business Park in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Cllr. Gill Heesom, the Mayor of Newcastle, and Lilian Dodd, Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent joined clients, friends and local businesses to help Strategi take the wraps off a significant overhaul which has transformed the company’s headquarters.
Cocktails and canapes were served, jazz music was played and the building was specially lit as the covers came off the offices.
Cllr. Heesom said she was delighted to be able to join the firm for the celebration event and praised them for their incredible growth from two members of staff to the current total of 20 in such a short time.
This latest move is of particular significance for Strategi as the management team took the decision to actually purchase their new building to accommodate future growth ambitions and to give them the freedom to create their own contemporary work environment.
Wendy Dean, Founder and Managing Director, said: “Purchasing our own building and being able to create a modern and creative environment for our team and customers is an incredibly important next step for Strategi.
“We have an incredibly talented team and the new office space showcases the talents of our team of designers who have been responsible for all of the design concepts for the interior layout and furnishings. And they have done an amazing job.”
The offices have a dedicated customer zone, a presentation/training area as well as space for social events.
The area for the team has been designed to enable agile working through hot desking as well as providing break-out and quiet areas for staff to work in or hold meetings.
Wendy added: “The design team has added lots of creative and quirky touches from a digital ceiling to the use of contemporary and vibrant furniture. A lot of our guests today made really positive comments about everything which was absolutely fabulous because when we took it on it was a blank canvas.”
The company’s relocation to larger premises at Lymedale Business Park has been driven by Strategi’s ambitious plans for development.
To assist with the purchase of the building, funding has been secured from the European Regional Development Fund who recognised the company’s potential for future development.
Support for the deal was received from HSBC, Mitten Clarke and Freeths (Stoke).
Wendy said: “At Strategi we have always placed the well-being of our team at the heart of everything we do as we recognise the huge contribution them make on a daily basis to our success.
“Their work has imprinted our personality on the building in a way which reflects our culture and values. We are now looking forward to delivering on our growth proposals and continuing to develop excellent and close working relationships both with existing clients as well as new ones.”
