Rob Fisher, Managing Director at Strategi Solutions joins the Board of Governors at Alsager High School 20 years after being a student himself.

Looking back on his time at school with such fond memories, and now in a role where he is devoted to nurturing young talent in his local area, Rob went through a long interview process to be appointed as Community Governor at the school.

After leaving the school in 2002, he stayed on at the Sixth Form for a further 2 years, Rob went on to achieve a First Class Honours in Business Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Staffordshire University quickly moving into HR roles across various businesses including Steelite International and Ornua Nutrition Ingredients. Working his way up the corporate ladder, Rob joined Wendy Dean, CEO of Strategi Solutions in 2016 as Director of HR Services and after four years took on the role of Managing Director.

On his new appointment, Rob said, “It’s a real honour to be taking on this role in my old high school. I am so passionate about this local community and I’m looking forward to being able to be a force of good for the current students at the school and the ones in years to come.”

Already sitting on the Corporation Board of Stoke-on-Trent College, chairing their Governance Committee and sitting on the Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce Council, Rob is committed to working with other local organisations to offer his support and guidance.
