As Strategi marks 11 years in business, I’ve been reflecting on how far we’ve come, not just as a company, but as a team.
Rather than focusing purely on milestones, I wanted to look at the journey through the people who have shaped it. The team we have at Strategi is incredibly important ande a huge contribution in shaping our business to what it is today, whether it’s joining us from day one to this year, everybody has had a huge part to play.
To commemorate our 11th year, I sat down with each member of the team, including myself, and discussed one simple question: What part of the journey are you most proud to have been part of since joining Strategi? And their responses really capture what the last 11 years have been about.
Where it all began.
For me, it always comes back to where we started. In 2015, Strategi Solutions, or Strategi-HR as it was originally called, began in a home office, as just an idea, a lot of determination, and a desire to do things differently in maximising the potential of people in organisations.
Since then, we’ve grown into a team, built our own space in a fantastic office and meeting space, and continue to develop with new opportunities ahead. Seeing that progression is something I’m incredibly proud of.
Growing alongside the business
Rob reflected on his own journey, progressing from HR Director in 2016 to CEO today. It’s something that mirrors the growth of Strategi itself. We’ve evolved, taking on new challenges and helping shape the direction of the business as it continues to develop.
Being part of the journey from day one
Jane, our Finance Manager, has been with Strategi from the very beginning. Her perspective is one of providing consistency, supporting the business as it has grown and evolved over the past 11 years.
Jane has qualified as an accountant since being with us, demonstrating that pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is where the magic happens
Supporting businesses and building relationships
For Head of Account Management, Michaela, it’s the number of businesses we’ve worked with; we’ve supported hundreds of businesses in the last 11 years, as well as the relationships she’s personally built along the way.
Working closely with organisations at different stages of growth, and seeing the impact that has, is a big part of what makesher journey so rewarding.
A full-circle approach to development
Megan, our HR Services Manager, shared her experience reflecting on something we strongly believe in, which is personal development and growth.
Starting her career with us in 2016, Megan later returned as HR Manager in 2024. Her career progression is a great example of how development doesn’t always follow a straight line, and how progression can come full circle.
Building partnerships and creating opportunities
Qash, our Partnerships Director, only joined the business in February this year, and had many moments to share. He highlighted the importance of partnerships and building relationships that open opportunities and continue to support the growth of the business.
Those connections have always played a key role in where we are today and where we’re heading.
Bringing the brand to life online
Sarah, our Social Media & Content Executive, shared how her role has evolved over time, growing in confidence and shaping her own position in the business. From starting as a Designer in 2024 to progressing to a more content focused role where she is today, she highlighted how she found her passion for content and storytelling through the opportunities that arised at Strategi.
It’s a great reflection of how roles within the business can develop as people find what they’re most passionate about.
Expanding our reach globally
For Matt, part of our Strategi Global Solutions team as Global Solutions Director, a key moment has been the launch of our new business venture this year and joining us in March 2026 to support with this journey which we’re accelerating at pace with.
With Matt’s expertise Strategi has expanded our offer and reach to a broader and global scale, and it’s an exciting step forward and a sign of how the business continues to evolve.
Evolving our brand
From our Designer, Dave’s perspective, the evolution of the Strategi brand stands out. He’s been a key member of our Creative team, joining us in 2017 he has been fundamental in developing our identity over time to reflect the business we are today.
It’s a great acknowledgement on how much design places a key part in your identity, as the business has grown throughout these 11 years, we’ve changed our look and feel as a brand to reflect the positive change we’ve seen.
Looking ahead
Elaine, our Marketing Director, reflected on bringing a fresh perspective to the business, and continuing to strengthen the brand as it scales and builds for an exciting future ahead for Strategi.
That forward-looking mindset is an important part of this next chapter, and something that is going to be a critical part of our business growth in 2026.
Supporting women in leadership
One of the most meaningful parts of our journey has been our continued focus on supporting women in leadership.
What started as conversations through our “Why Women Don’t Play Golf” podcast has grown into something much bigger. From becoming a key sponsor of the Women of the Year Awards, and more, launching our Level 7 leadership programme for women, in partnership with Axia Solutions.
It’s something we’re passionate about, and something we’ve experienced internally too from piloting the programme to seeing members of our own team take part.
My final reflection on people and connections
Looking across all of these contributions from the team, one thing stands out. And that is that Strategi has always been about people.
The people in the business, and the partnerships we build they’ve all shaped the last 11 years, and they’ll continue to shape what comes next.
To everyone who has been part of the journey so far, thank you. And to those who are set to be joining us at this new exciting point of our business, we look forward to what’s ahead.
